1.      Read the Instructions and FAQ's provided, if you have questions send us an email.

2.      Start with the USA Mall Special Offers link (this is developing for the International Mall and will soon be available for each country that has merchants and in their own language WOW!).  If you find a listing there either follow the link or make a notation so that you can take advantage of the Special Offer, return to this link if necessary but take advantage of the hard work our Mall Director, Deb Corsetti puts into this for us.

3.      If you have a coupon offer received in your email or one that you locate through surfing or searching make a notation of how to take advantage of the offer.  DO NOT click through that link as you will lose your Reward and PayPoints.  Most of these have a number that you can place in the promotion area in the shopping cart as you check out.

4.      DO NOT follow a link away from the Merchant's site once arriving there, you lose the tracking cookie.  If there is something you want to check out you can always return but complete your purchase first.  A good example of this is Amazon who has many links to their Affiliates.  Some of these are our Merchants as well, like Northern Tool and Equipment.  If you can purchase from the Amazon search and it remains in the Amazon Shopping Cart, you are okay but if it leads to a different URL (website) you just lost your cookie!  Also, Amazon is one Merchant that is a ClubShop Mall Merchant that you still need to send a copy of your confirmation order in to the email that will pop-up in the gray box and always allow pop-ups on the DHS Site!  PayPal is another example, do not click away to pay with PayPal.

5.      Like to see before you buy?  Check out the last column of the Mall listing to see if the Gift Card option is available and it has a YES in that column.  This means you can purchase a Gift Card from that Merchant and go to the local location and make your purchase.  Some merchants allow you to purchase and go to the local Merchant and pickup.  I have used this option with several merchants, an email was sent and I followed the instructions provided.

6.      If you are already a customer of one of our merchants, update your profile.  For example I had been shopping Staples online for several years before becoming a DHS member.  I updated my profile with the email I used for DHS and I also made sure I connected my Rewards Card with that information I get my Rewards for being a loyal Staples Shopper from them and my Reward and PayPoints!  Exception to this if you want to take advantage of gaining the 600 Reward Points from E-Bay you will need to set up a new profile with a different email address.

7.      Going out of town?  Plan ahead to see if there are Gift Certificates that you may take advantage of!  A good example is Restuarants.com.  I was very pleased to find some great Gift Certificates available for my visits.  Check our ClubBucks Merchants, you may find one in an area nearby or for a location you are visiting.  Take advantage and build those Reward and PayPoints. 

8.      As usual a word of advice! :-) ClubShop Mall has hundreds of merchants, items which are suitable for your everyday shopping needs, special occasions, and those more expensive occasional purchases, and your Business Center Purchases.  Buy the items you NEED or those that are planned purchases.  We do not want anyone breaking the budget, we personally make about 90 percent of our purchases (excluding food) through the merchants available and when we look at our Reward and PayPoints we are quite happy that we purchased in this manner as it feels good knowing we are building our future through our NORMAL SHOPPING HABITS! :-)  Do we spend more?  With a large family, you don't fight the budget, you join the budget!  :-)  I have a large family, and I personally believe anyone without a budget is cheating themselves!  Let's use Drugstore.com as an example here:  I shop them regularly, and find that yes I could go to a local merchant and pick up some items that would be cheaper across the counter.  However, I add up the benefit of gaining 5% from Drugstore.com for my normal household items shopping (every three months I have a nice little figure deducted from my order); the 5 Reward Points, building toward that Reward I am going to cash in on; the 3.3 PayPoints which is building my overall NetWork PayPoints; if I order $49.95 I receive free shipping on most purchases; they do not charge sales tax (a word of caution follow your State Tax law rules with this, in NC we are required on the NC Individual Income Tax Report to declare items purchased on the Internet which Sales Tax is due to the State)!  Overall, I have win-win situation, I use gas to get to a local merchant, I spend less immediately, but by applying the delayed gratification method I actually saved more and I purchased the items from my own business, building my future and not someone else's!! :-)
